NFL Playoffs: Cincinnati Bengals defeat Tennessee Titans with last-minute field goal

In the NFL playoffs, the Cincinnati Bengals ultimately prevail over the Tennesse Titans in a defensive-minded game.

The Cincinnati Bengals narrowly beat the No. 1 seed Tennessee Titans 19-16 in a long defensive dominated game. Rookie kicker Evan McPherson kicked the deciding field goal as time expired.

Titans: Nine Sacks Against Joe Burrow

The Titans’ defence dominated the game for long stretches and recorded nine sacks against Joe Burrow. The offence around the returning star running back Derrick Henry, on the other hand, struggled, also because quarterback Ryan Tannehill made several mistakes with three interceptions.

On the other hand, quarterback Joe Burrow played a decent game. He also made an interception, but with 348 passing yards he was able to create a promising position for kicker McPherson. The hero of the evening made four of four field goals and scored 13 points for the Titans. Running back Joe Mixon provided the only touchdown.
