The receiver of the touchdown also faced the media after the game on Sunday and, just like his quarterback, was also overjoyed.

In doing so, the just 22-year-old gave insights on the touchdown that tight ends coach Ben Johnson designed. “We just put that in the playbook this week,” St. Brown said.

“I was supposed to block the defensive end and then I snuck out. It worked out perfectly against zone coverage because they weren’t paying attention to me,” the Lions receiver added.

Record-holder Amon-Ra must take drug test

Not only did the Lions, already eliminated from the playoffs, trip up a top team in the NFC, Amon-Ra also set records with his statistically productive day (eight catches for 90 yards, one touchdown).

St. Brown is the first player with German nationality to score two touchdowns in the NFL. Previously, Jakob Johnson, Markus Kuhn and Amon-Ra’s brother Equanimeous each found their way into the end zone, but only once. The Lions’ No. 14 hasn’t dropped a pass since Week Two.
