New York Jets: Joe Flacco not vaccinated against Corona – “Definitely have my reasons”

The next NFL quarterback causes a stir with his vaccination status: Joe Flacco of the New York Jets admits to not being vaccinated. But by his own admission, he is abiding by the rules.

Munich – Following the furore over Aaron Rodgers and his refusal to be vaccinated against the corona virus, the next NFL quarterback has now admitted to being unvaccinated.

“I’m not vaccinated,” Joe Flacco admitted at a media roundtable shortly after the New York Jets made him the starter against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. When asked about the reasons behind his decision, Flacco replied, “I definitely have my reasons. Probably I’d rather talk about it than a lot of people.”

However, he said he believed that talking at length about his vaccination status would be a distraction. But of course, Flacco was also asked about Rodgers violating NFL regulations. Flacco stressed that he was following the rules for unvaccinated players.

“If you want to go out there and play the game you love, you have to do what has to be done,” the 36-year-old said.

The rules for unvaccinated players are much stricter. For example, they must be tested daily and wear mouth-nose protection everywhere. Flacco is apparently putting up with this, after all, he wants to be on the field on Sunday.
