Köln (SID) – For the German brothers Equanemeous and Amon-Ra St. Brown, things couldn’t be more different for their teams in the US American Football League NFL. Equanemeous St. Brown (25) won the prestigious duel with the Green Bay Packers at the Chicago Bears 24:14 and extended his lead in the NFC North with the fifth victory in the sixth game of the season.
Amon-Ra St. Brown (21), on the other hand, also lost the sixth game of the season with the Detroit Lions in 11:34 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Since December 2020, the chronically unsuccessful Lions have now conceded ten defeats in a row.
However, the St Brown brothers, both wide receivers, had the bigger share of the game with Amon-Ra catching five passes for 26 yards of space. Equanemeous did not receive a pass from Green Bay’s star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Superstar Patrick Mahomes avoided another defeat with title contender Kansas City Chiefs despite another mixed performance. In the 31:13 win in Washington, quarterback Mahomes threw two interceptions, but then led his team to its third win in the sixth game.
