NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers defeat Miami Dolphins and take a step toward AFC North title

The Pittsburgh Steelers celebrated a clear victory at the end of the 15th match day of the NFL. Pittsburgh prevailed against the Miami Dolphins with a score of 28:15.

In the Monday Night Game of the 15th match day, the Pittsburgh Steelers secured an unchallenged victory.
The Steelers beat the Miami Dolphins 28-15. This keeps Pittsburgh ahead of the Baltimore Ravens. Aaron Rodgers put in a fabulous performance, completing 23 of his 27 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns, with a rating of 126.
Once again, DK Metcalf was the best receiver (55 yards, one touchdown), while Marquez Valdez-Scantling also caught a touchdown. Kenneth Gainwell was the Steelers’ best runner with 80 rushing yards on just twelve carries, totaling 126 scrimmage yards.

NFL: Miami Dolphins’ season officially over

The Dolphins were unable to get going for a long time, with three of their first five drives ending in a punt, one in a field goal and one in an interception by Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa did not look too bad, completing 22 (of 28) passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

The Dolphins’ most successful running back was De’Von Achane with 60 rushing yards, but overall the Dolphins only gained 63 yards on the ground – too little to pose a sustained threat to the Steelers.

Achane was also the Dolphins’ most successful receiver with six catches for 67 yards. Close behind was tight end Darren Waller, who caught 66 yards and both of Tua’s passing touchdowns. Jaylen Waddle finished the game with two catches for 26 yards.

With a record of 6-8, Miami is officially eliminated from the playoffs. Next week, the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Florida. At the same time, the Steelers, now 8-6, face the Detroit Lions on the road.
