Micah Parsons will soon face his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. However, the Green Bay Packers linebacker has something else on his mind. Or rather, someone else.
The reunion is coming up fast: In Week 4 of the new NFL season, Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers will face his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. The linebacker was traded to the Packers shortly before the start of the season after the Cowboys refused to give him a new, lucrative contract. From a sporting perspective, Parsons is an asset to the Packers, who have started the season with two wins.
In Week 4, the two teams will face off directly.
But Parsons isn’t thinking that far ahead yet. On Sunday, the Packers first have to take on the Cleveland Browns.
That’s why Parsons has a completely different target than the Cowboys: Browns quarterback Joe Flacco. And a sack against the experienced playmaker.
Parsons wants to hunt Flacco: “Time to get him”
“Man, it’s really all about getting Flacco. I like the name ‘The Hunter’. I don’t have Flacco yet. I need him. I want him. It’s time to get him,” Parsons said. “I couldn’t be more excited. It’s all about the QB right in front of me. I don’t want to look ahead. I need him.” Dak Prescott hasn’t been able to take Parsons down yet, and a sack against the Cowboys quarterback would undoubtedly be a career highlight, as would a win. But right now, Parsons has only one goal in mind: Joe Flacco.
