The Washington Commanders have found a trade partner for Brian Robinson Jr.
According to NFL expert Adam Schefter of ESPN, the San Francisco 49ers are the team in question. The running back is already on his way to San Francisco to undergo his medical examination.
If the trade goes through, the Commanders would receive a sixth-round pick in the 2026 draft from the Niners.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport had previously reported that the franchise from the capital was looking for a buyer for Robinson Jr.
The ball carrier recorded 799 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games as a starter last season. In the upcoming final year of his rookie deal, he is due a salary of $3.4 million.
