NFL: Dolphins receiver Grant DuBose transported away – team provides first update

A bad injury occurs in the game between the Dolphins and the Texans, and there is a first update after the game.

Unpleasant images in the NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans. Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose had to be carried off the field after a bad collision.

The 23-year-old had initially caught a pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the middle of the field before he was hit by Texans defender Calen Bullock and remained on the ground.

Doctors and medical staff immediately rushed onto the field. His jersey had to be cut open and the facemask unscrewed. DuBose was stabilized as best as possible. After a pause of several minutes for treatment, he was finally driven off the field with a neck brace and strapped to a stretcher.

After the game, the Dolphins explained that the athlete had been taken to a clinic but was in a stable condition so far. A diagnosis is still pending.

The Dolphins lost the game 12-20.
