NFL – New England Patriots ahead of Munich Game with “sensational signing”

The New England Patriots are also represented in Munich in connection with the Munich Game. The team is announcing a “sensational signing” in advance.

When the NFL comes to Germany, you won’t just see the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants – but also a “sensational signing”.

At least for a short time.

In a clip, Lothar Matthäus describes himself as the “Assistant Kicking Coach” of the New England Patriots. In the video, the record-breaking national player is extremely successful as a kicker with his legendary “10” on his back.

And he even impresses former German NFL pro Sebastian Vollmer. The two-time Super Bowl winner then asks Matthäus: “How do you do that?”

The 63-year-old replies in a cool manner: “Easy. You just got to kick it – like Lothar.”

And then he asks: “Can you kick it like Lothar? Then show me, on November 8 and 9 in Munich.”

The background to the whole thing: in the days leading up to the game, numerous teams with marketing rights in Germany will be presenting themselves in Munich, including the Patriots, with promotions for fans.

The Patriots’ team pub is the Herrschaftszeiten (Tal 12, Munich) from November 8 to 10. Matthäus was signed because he is a brand ambassador for Patriots sponsor Interwetten.
