That was close: Dak Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to a hard-fought 20-17 win at the Pittsburgh Steelers with a last-minute touchdown.

In the end, it was a real thriller – with the better end for the Dallas Cowboys!

Dak Prescott gave the Texans a 20-17 win at the Pittsburgh Steelers with a touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds left on the clock. The win means the Cowboys now have the same record of 3-2 as the Steelers.

Prescott threw for 352 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions. Steelers quarterback Justin Fields completed 127 yards and two passes into the end zone.

Due to inclement weather, the game started with a delay of about 90 minutes. The Steelers got off to a good start, converting on their first drive of the game to a 41-yard field goal from Chris Boswell, giving them a 3-0 lead.

But the Cowboys were ahead at halftime after Brandon Aubrey scored field goals from 55 and 33 yards.

Another setback for the 49ers

Prescott had two turnovers in the first half. He first lost the ball to a strip-sack by T.J. Watt and Nick Herbig, and then threw an interception.

Steelers: 100th sack for T.J. Watt

The Prescott sack was a special moment in Pittsburgh that night: T.J. Watt’s 100th career sack. He is the 44th player overall to reach 100 career sacks. And only Reggie White managed it faster than Watt, who needed 109 games with 100 sacks in his 96th career game.

There was a stir around Fields. In the third quarter, the Steelers’ quarterback was hit hard by Cowboys defensive end Tyrus Wheat after he had already thrown the ball.

Fields was tested for a concussion but was able to return to the field and completed the drive for the first touchdown for the hosts through Connor Heyward. The Steelers led 10-6.

But the Cowboys fought back, completing a drive of 90 yards to score their first touchdown of the evening at the start of the final quarter: Prescott threw for running back Rico Dowdle over 22 yards to put the Cowboys 13-10 ahead.

A good ten minutes before the end, Prescott then threw his next interception when Joey Porter Jr. intercepted a long pass from the playmaker.

And the Steelers capitalized on the interception: Fields led his team towards the end zone and completed the drive with a short pass to tight end Pat Freiermuth, who completed the touchdown for a 17:13 lead.

The end was wild, the game became a thriller: the Cowboys made it to just outside the end zone and had four attempts to score the decisive touchdown. And indeed, in the final attempt, Prescott found wide receiver Jalen Tolbert for the win.

The Cowboys face the Detroit Lions in Week 6 on October 13. The Steelers also face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
