There is a threat situation surrounding a concert at the Kansas City Chiefs’ stadium against two of the franchise’s players.
Unpleasant news surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs. A concert by country singer Morgan Wallen at Arrowhead Stadium was delayed by 40 minutes after a concertgoer threatened on social media to shoot two Chiefs players in attendance.
The visitor was arrested by the police at the stadium and the event started later, but subsequently passed off without incident. According to the broadcaster “KSHB”, the arrested man described his action as a “stupid, stupid, stupid mistake” and explained that he had deleted his post on the social media platform “X” even before he arrived at the stadium.
Three stars of the Super Bowl winner were present at the concert. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (with his pregnant wife Brittany), tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones. The players escorted the singer to the stage at the beginning of the concert.
The suspected concertgoer was subsequently charged with second-degree terroristic threats.
