Judon is entering the final year of his four-year contract this season and recently admitted that it was “hard not to be jealous when I see his teammates’ contracts”. The Patriots star turns 32 in August and is earning a base salary of 6.5 million US dollars this season.

But not only the striking Judon is hoping for an agreement soon, teammate and offensive lineman Michael Onwenu would also be happy if the pass rusher would sign a new contract: “It means a lot to me, but we can’t really do anything about it”.

Judon’s current average salary ranks 14th in the league among outside linebackers. He has been one of the Patriots’ few constants in recent years.
