Super Bowl: Taylor Swift reportedly turned down request for halftime show

Rihanna, Dr Dre, The Weeknd and Shakira are just a few of the Super Bowl halftime performers of recent years. Taylor Swift has reportedly turned down an offer from the NFL – for the second time.

According to “HITS Daily Double”, the NFL was eyeing superstar Taylor Swift as a candidate to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas. However, the pop and country singer is said to have turned down the offer.

Already a year ago, the NFL and Swift had probably held talks about a possible Super Bowl participation, but also then the singer is said to have ended the negotiations with a refusal.

Instead, Rihanna had performed at halftime of the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Possible candidates for the upcoming halftime show are said to be Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles, reports “Pop Hive”.
