“I had to make about twenty $200,000 bets to make it work,” McIngvale, who owns a retail furniture chain, told ESPN. The Bengals will face the host Los Angeles Rams in the finals of the NFL’s professional football league on 13 February (local time). Bookmakers have Cincinnati as an underdog.

Last year, McIngvale bet a good 3.5 million on the triumph of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – and won. Recently, however, things have not been going well.
