NFL: After Super Bowl victory, Philadelphia Eagles receive championship rings

The Philadelphia Eagles finally receive their championship rings after their Super Bowl victory: truly opulent pieces of jewelry.

The wait was worth it. In February, the Philadelphia Eagles were crowned Super Bowl champions with a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs – and now they have received their championship rings.

The rings were actually supposed to be handed out on June 6, but “production issues” delayed the ceremony.

This is the Eagles’ second championship in franchise history, and the rings were a very special gift just in time for the start of training camp. And they look more than just opulent.

Eagles ring with fold-out wings

The Eagles eagle is prominently featured against the backdrop of the two Vince Lombardi trophies won by the team. Engraved alongside the words “World Champion” are the final score of the game, the player’s name, and his jersey number.

As a special feature, two fold-out eagle wings in the shape and style of their helmet logo frame the ring. In addition to countless diamonds, the piece is finished in Eagles green.

The rings were presented at a Super Bowl celebration in Philadelphia.
