Career end? For four teams DeSean Jackson would return

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is thinking about ending his long NFL career. Only one of four NFL teams with a “great quarterback” could convince him to return.

Munich – DeSean Jackson has played 14 seasons in the NFL. He managed just 20 catches for his two teams last season, but he proved he was still a force to be reckoned with, averaging a career-best 22.7 yards per catch.

While the wide receiver, now a free agent, had always talked about wanting to have a 15th season, he is now reconsidering his future.

“I’m not sure if I’m going to play next year or not,” he explained on Laces Out. “I know I’ve announced it and said I’m going to play, but it’s really that I’m at a point in my life where it just has to be the right thing. I was in the NFL for 14 years, in Philadelphia, Washington, Tampa, back in Philadelphia, then for the Rams and for the Raiders – it just has to be the right fit for me now. “

One thing, though, would entice the pass receiver to return. “When the right situation calls, and a great quarterback – not just a good quarterback,” Jackson said.

He named the Kansas City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes, the Cleveland Browns with Deshaun Watson, the Denver Broncos with Russell Wilson and the Green Bay Packers around Aaron Rodgers as possible destinations with said “great quarterback”.

Last season he played seven games for the Rams and new games for the Raiders.
