The Washington Football Team will officially get a new name on 2 February. The indications are now growing that it will be “Commanders”.

Munich – For Washington football team fans, February 2 is the deadline. That’s when the franchise plans to officially announce its new name, as well as its new logo.

But these days, such things rarely stay secret until the very end, because fans like to do their research in advance.

Redirect to NFL page

In early January, users had initially found out that the domain www.washingtonadmirals.com led directly to the team’s current homepage www.washingtonfootball.com. In the meantime, one is redirected to the official NFL page, specifically to “NFL Crucial Catch”, a campaign of the league for the fight against cancer.

Now, however, there is a new reference to the name “Commanders”, and it currently seems to be ahead of the game.
