The future of former star quarterback Tom Brady continues to be the subject of hot speculation. According to “NBC”, a comeback by Brady this season is not out of the question.
Munich – Five-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady, who resigned in February, is said to have not hung up his NFL career for good, according to a report by “NBC”.
According to the report, Brady has only announced his retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but not from the NFL. “Tom Brady will be back, folks,” sports reporter Mike Florio said on TV.
The quarterback routine announced his career end quite surprisingly for many NFL fans, also due to some statements on his part. Nevertheless, the 44-year-old always left room for interpretation in his subsequent statements.
49ers in waiting
Recently, Brady has been repeatedly linked to the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have never really been happy with starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, despite taking him to the NFC Championship Game last season.
For Brady, it would be the third stop in the NFL after the long era with the New England Patriots (six Super Bowl victories) and the two seasons with the Buccaneers (one Super Bowl victory).
