I don’t think Teddy Bridgewater has a future in New Orleans. A possible new quarterback destination is Florida. I hear the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in Bridgewater.
After a strong five-game short appearance as starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints in 2019, Teddy Bridgewater will probably have some options on the market as free agent.
Bridgewater caught 67.9 percent of his passes, throwing 1,384 yards and nine touchdowns. Still, he has no future in New Orleans – the Saints bet on Drew Brees and Taysom Hill.
“The Athletic” now reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in Bridgewater.
Quote from General Manager triggers speculation on the net
In his report, author Mike Sando anonymously quotes a general manager who spoke about Sando in Combine: “I hear Tampa Bay is hot for Bridgewater.
"I am hearing Tampa Bay is hot on Bridgewater," one GM tells @TheAthleticNFL's @SandoNFL in his roundup of combine notes. Jameis Winston to the Saints as a backup? https://t.co/EFUpi5WZPx

According to “NBC Sports” Tampa Bay will “probably” part with quarterback Jameis Winston. Sando thinks that a trade-off between Winston and Bridgewater would be a good idea.
Recently, the Bucs were also associated with Tom Brady and Philip Rivers.
