Munich/Indianapolis – For the first time this season, Tom Brady took the field in a preseason game.Against the Indianapolis Colts, the quarterback completed six of eight passes for 44 yards.Afterwards, Brady also commented on his previous eleven-day hiatus from football.
“It’s all personal. Everyone has different situations to deal with. We all have unique challenges in our lives. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of sh*** going on. You just have to try to deal with life the best you can. It’s a continuous process,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion said at the press conference.
Asked if he had been able to get his personal stuff sorted out, Brady responded with a curt, “I’m ready. “

In the aftermath, the quarterback, who arrived from the New England Patriots in 2020, expressed gratitude to his current employer for giving him the break and highlighted his special bond with the franchise and those in charge.
“I’m very proud of the effort everyone has put in to make the relationship work. Joel has been great. Jason [Licht] is a friend of mine. Bruce [Arians], Todd [Bowles], all the coaches,” Brady gushed.
And continued, “It’s a great relationship and I’m very thankful to everyone that allowed me to come here and have this experience in my football life. When I look back and I wouldn’t have had this, it would have been incomplete. I’m glad to have experienced that. “

The superstar also commented on the rumours that he was interested in other teams after leaving New England: “It’s an incredible experience to come here and be supported like this for such a long time.
