Once again, the second slide of games on NFL Week 17 delivered some remarkable results. From blowouts and close victories, it was all there
Green Bay Packers – Minnesota Vikings 41:17
The Green Bay Packers achieved their minimum goal and got themselves a final playoff spot. With 41:17 the Packers won superior at home against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Packers’ defence was once again the match-winner, first holding the Vikings three times at the 1-yard line, then intercepting three Kirk Cousins passes and converting them into touchdowns.
While the Packers are now in the postseason with a win against the Detroit Lions in Week 18, the Vikings have squandered any chance at the NFC’s No. 1 seed despite losing to the Eagles.
Las Vegas Raiders – San Francisco 49ers 34:37
In a dramatic and incredibly exciting game, the San Francisco 49ers won 37:34 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
In a fast-paced game, Jarrett Stidham – who took over from Derek Carr at quarterback – shone first with three touchdowns, but threw the game-deciding interception in overtime.
The San Francisco 49ers are now 12-4 and take the second seed in the NFC, while the Las Vegas Raiders have no chance of making the playoffs.
Seattle Seahawks – New York Jets 23:6
With a superior 23:6 the Seattle Seahawks won against the New York Jets. While the Seahawks keep their playoff hopes alive with an 8-8 record, the postseason is out of reach for the New York Jets (7-9).
Mike White completed only half of his passes and had two interceptions. The Seahawks must now win on the final day of play against the Los Angeles Rams.
Los Angeles Chargers – Los Angeles Rams 31:10
In the most trivial game of the evening, the Los Angeles Chargers won against the Los Angeles Rams 31:10.
The Rams no longer had a chance at the playoffs and stand at 5-11, the Chargers (10-6) are already qualified for a wild-card spot
