Colin Kaepernick has not ruled out an NFL return for a long time. Most recently, a video made the rounds showing him working out with Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett. Now Head Coach Pete Carroll has also spoken out about “Kaep”. The two talked about a return.
Munich/Seattle – The Seattle Seahawks are on the search for a quarterback. After the departure of Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, the playmaker position is vacant on the West Coast.
After a training video of Tyler Lockett with Colin Kaepernick surfaced, the rumour mill ran hot. Is the 34-year-old coming to the Seahawks?
On Wednesday, Pete Carroll spoke out about the Kaepernick situation.
Carroll: “He deserves a chance “
At a press conference, Carroll said: “Yes, I’ve spoken to him. He sent me the videos,” the 71-year-old Seahawks head coach said. Meaning Kaepernick’s practice videos with Carroll’s receiver Lockett.
“He deserves a chance, I really think so. Somewhere, I don’t know if it’s here or somewhere else, but he deserves it,” Carroll said.
“Does that guy deserve a second shot? I think he does.”

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter’s sources, Kaepernick is currently “in the shape of his life” and wants to be ready for teams that need a quarterback. And that, as we all know, applies to the Seahawks.
Whether Colin Kaepernick will actually return to the NFL is still open. But the chances have never been as high in recent years as they are now.
