The San Francisco 49ers could see another departure among their wide receivers with Brandon Aiyuk, in addition to Deebo Samuel.
The San Francisco 49ers could possibly reposition themselves at the wide receiver position in the NFL offseason.
After Deebo Samuel is said to be facing a possible departure from the franchise, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported on the sidelines of the NFL Combine that Brandon Aiyuk could possibly be traded as well.
The 26-year-old Aiyuk only signed a new four-year contract for up to 120 million US dollars with the 49ers at the end of 2024, after months of back and forth.
Last season, Aiyuk was out for an extended period due to a cruciate ligament injury, and now his time in San Francisco could be coming to an end.
Samuel, on the other hand, is said to have submitted his request to the 49ers for a transfer in February 2025.
