NFL: Rams lineman Conor McDermott is likely to have the playbook stolen

As if the Los Angeles Rams, with their 1-4 start to the NFL season, weren’t already punished, offensive lineman Conor McDermott has now caused a stir due to a curiosity.

As reported by TMZ, Rams offensive tackle Conor McDermott had his team-issued tablet stolen. A tricky situation for the franchise from the City of Angels, as the tablet contained the Rams playbook with all the plays and various video analysis recordings.

Fortunately for Rams head coach Sean McVay and McDermott, the tablet is said to have some security features that protect the sensitive content.

McDermott had parked his car in a residential area in the California metropolis when the perpetrator(s) broke into the car and stole the tablet. The lineman subsequently contacted the police, but according to TMZ, no suspects have yet been arrested.

The Rams athlete has been playing in the NFL since 2017, and has played for every team in the AFC East except for the Dolphins before joining the Rams before the current season. McDermott is currently on the Injured Reserve list.
