Los Angeles Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner puts an end to a fan’s on-field rush with a powerful tackle in a 24-9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers

Munich ,Santa Clara – Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner put an end to a spectator’s onslaught with a tackle during the Monday Night Game against the San Francisco 49ers (24-9).

Just before the intermission whistle, a fan ran onto the field with a smoke torch in his hand. Security despaired of the streaker and could not stop him – unlike Wagner.

When the man ran along the sideline in front of the Rams’ bench, the Pro Bowler didn’t hesitate and took him down with a hard hit, as can be seen on a “Twitter” video.

He was assisted by teammate Takkarist McKinley.

Followed by security escorting the fan off the field, play resumed with the score 14-6 49ers.
