NFL: Police on the lookout for St. Brown’s teammate

A teammate of German football star Amon-Ra St. Brown is in big trouble: Cameron Sutton, linebacker for the NFL’s Detroit Lions, is wanted by police in Florida on allegations of domestic violence.

“The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating a wanted suspect: Cameron Sutton, 29. Sutton plays in the NFL for the Detroit Lions,” it said in a call to the people of the county, which includes the Tampa metropolitan area. “He is wanted for domestic violence by strangulation.”

ESPN reported that a warrant had already been issued for Sutton’s arrest on March 7. The Lions said in a statement that they are aware of the situation and are following up on it.

Sutton was traded to the Lions in 2023 and was a regular on defense last season. Detroit only failed to make the play-off semi-finals and narrowly missed out on their first Super Bowl appearance
