The Philadelphia Eagles are plagued by quarterback problems despite the clear victory. Backup Kenny Pickett caused a curious incident against the Cowboys – even though the Hurts representative was injured.
In the end, the Philadelphia Eagles recorded a clear victory. “Philly” swept the Dallas Cowboys away in their own stadium by 41-7.
The Eagles even had to do without their starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is out for the time being with an injury. Backup Kenny Pickett, who was also injured, stood in for the playmaker.
According to US media reports, the 26-year-old is even said to have played with a broken rib against Dallas. His performance against the Cowboys was decent.
He completed 143 passing yards, a touchdown pass and a rushing touchdown. In the rout, however, it was the Eagles defense that impressed, forcing four takeaways against the Cowboys.
In his lackluster performance, Pickett did, however, create a situation that will be remembered for a long time by the entire NFL and, above all, by himself.
At the beginning of the second quarter, with the score tied at 7-7, Pickett had the ball with five yards to go on a second down.
The signal caller “Phillys” took a few steps back after the snap and then prepared to pass. However, he did not release the ball early enough – possibly because he changed his mind in the throwing motion – and put the ball on the ground in front of him.
Pickett lost his balance so badly due to a slight contact on the throwing arm’s wrist that it also sat him on the ground. The camera images show that Cowboys linebacker Marist Liufau slightly touched Pickett, which probably irritated him.
Kenny Pickett may have just had the worst play of ALL TIME.

Philadelphia Eagles: Fumble had no consequences
This curious fumble had no consequences. For one thing, because running back Saquon Barkley immediately secured the lost ball. For another, because a penalty was called against the Cowboys for illegal contact anyway after the play, giving the Eagles an automatic first down.
The action certainly provided a laugh. On the platform “X” content creator Dov Kleiman commented on the scene: “Pickett has to be cut on the spot. What the hell is this?”
It is currently unclear how things will continue for the Eagles at the quarterback position. Hurts and Pickett are both injured for the time being; Pickett’s replacement, Tanner McKee, came on the field against the Cowboys at the end.
