NFL – Munich Game New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers: No fan events at the Allianz Arena on game day

On November 10, the fourth NFL game on German soil will take place. The city of Munich has organized various events around the game between the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers – but there is a new development that fans will find disappointing.

In a press release, the NFL announced the “Game Week Events” for the Munich Game between the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers. Munich is to become a meeting place for NFL fans from all over the world.

It is therefore surprising that no events will take place outside the Allianz Arena on the day of the game itself. The NFL even explicitly recommended that non-ticket holders not travel to the stadium on game day.

Even the NFL fan shop in the arena will only be accessible with a valid ticket.

However, there will be plenty going on in the city.

All team pubs and fan festivals at a glance

As in 2022, some traditional Munich bars and pubs will be decked out in the colors of various franchises.

The Giants and Panthers team pubs will be open from November 7 to 10. In addition, the Carolina Panthers will be hosting a fan festival on Wittelsbacherplatz from 12 noon on November 8 and 9.

But other NFL teams are also taking the opportunity to market themselves on German soil:

  • New England Patriots Team Pub (Patriots Haus) (Nov. 8 – 10) Herrschaftszeiten (Tal 12, Munich)

  • Atlanta Falcons House – Atlanta Falcons Team Pub (Nov. 8 – 10) – Augustiner am Platzl (Orlandostraße 5, Munich)

  • Seattle Seahawks House (Nov. 8 – 10) – Hard Rock Café Munich (Platzl 1, Munich)

  • Indianapolis Colts Team Pub (Nov. 8) Weisses Bräuhaus im Tal (Tal 7, Munich)

  • Kansas City Chiefs House (Nov. 8 – 9) – Der Pschorr (Viktualienmarkt 15, Munich)

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers Krewe Embassy (Nov. 8 – 10) – Ned Kelly’s (Frauenplatz 11, Munich)

  • Detroit Lions Night Party (Nov. 9) – Lucky Who (Brienner Str. 14, Munich)

NFL-Academy in Munich

The NFL Academy will also be a guest. For the third time, the training team will compete against the IMG Academy from Florida. Both initiatives offer international talents the opportunity of professional football training alongside a full-time education.

In addition, there will be a combine for talents between the ages of 15 and 18 on November 9.
