NFL: Mega event in Berlin! New York Giants at draft party – former pros attend fan gathering

The NFL Draft takes place on the last weekend in April. To mark the occasion, a draft party with the New York Giants will be held in Berlin.

The regular season of the new NFL season doesn’t start for a few months, but the teams will already have to be wide awake on April 24. That’s when the three-day draft kicks off in Green Bay. It’s a mega event that excites the entire football world.

In Germany, too, the excitement among NFL fans is mounting – and with it the anticipation. Especially in Berlin. That’s because the New York Giants will be making an appearance in the German capital with a number of representatives.

This was revealed by the German fan club “Big Blue Germany” on its Instagram channel. According to the club, a draft party will be held on Saturday, April 26, at the “BRLO Brwhouse,” including a fan meeting with wide receivers Brandon London and Victor Cruz, a live draft pick, tailgate games, and a football area with the GFL club Berlin Rebels.

The event will start at 4 p.m. Depending on how the third draft day progresses, with the fourth to seventh rounds scheduled, the pick from Berlin is expected to take place between 6 and 7 p.m.

New York Giants have eight picks in the draft – one from Germany?

The Giants have eight picks in this year’s draft – four of them in the first three rounds (positions 3, 34, 65, and 99). In rounds four and five, the franchise will pick at numbers 105 and 154. The remaining picks will then be made in the seventh round (219 and 246). This means that the 105th pick could be announced from Germany.

Last season, the Giants finished last in the NFC with only three wins and 14 losses and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
