Cologne- Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams will be without Matthew Stafford until the end of the year. The team from the US professional football league NFL has placed the quarterback on the so-called Injured Reserve List, meaning Stafford will miss at least four games. He is not expected to play again until the game at the LA Chargers on 1 January.
Stafford had already missed the game at the Kansas City Chiefs (10:26) due to a neck injury. The Rams have lost five games in a row and are last in the NFC West with only three wins and eight losses.
The club had already placed Cooper Kupp on the IR list in mid-November. The wide receiver, MVP in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the year, had to undergo surgery after a syndesmosis tear.
