Munich/Seattle – The last victory of the regular season was probably celebrated a little too debauched. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was arrested in Seattle on Sunday night.

After the win against the Arizona Cardinals, Russell Wilson’s backup was allegedly driving while intoxicated. This is according to the “Associated Press” from court records in King County, which has jurisdiction. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is not known.

“Geno is cooperating with the investigation,” attorney John Fox said in a statement. “I hope everyone can keep a calm head until all the facts are gathered.”

The signal-caller was reportedly arrested at 2:10 a.m. and was released around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Due to a finger injury to Russell Wilson, Smith appeared in four games and was allowed to start three times.
