Campbell continued, “The victims and their families are in our thoughts and we want to represent them on Sunday. We thought for sure there will be people watching our game on Sunday who have been affected by this tragedy. This is the best way for us to help them.”

To that end, there will be a minute of remembrance just before the start of the game.

The University of Michigan is also remembering the victims

On Tuesday, a spree killer killed four students and injured seven others at Oxford High School in Michigan. The 15-year-old rampage killer was arrested by the police.

Already on Thursday, the University of Michigan had announced that it would wear a special sticker on its jerseys at the next game to commemorate the victims.

The Detroit Lions stand at 0-10-1 after eleven games and in last place in the NFC North.
