Amon-Ra St. Brown is not at all pleased that the Detroit Lions have to share the primetime spot on Monday with another game in their game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Amon-Ra St. Brown loves the big stage, as evidenced not only by his spectacular celebrations after touchdowns.
The Detroit Lions star receiver is therefore not particularly happy about the fact that his team is not the sole focus of attention at this week’s Monday Night Football.
When the Detroit Lions host the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday night at 2:15 a.m. German time, another game will be taking place.
The kickoff for the game between the Tennessee Titans and the Miami Dolphins starts 45 minutes earlier. The fact that two NFL games are being shown at prime time in the US bothers many fans – and St. Brown too.
St. Brown: “I thought we were the only ones”
“I thought until a few days ago that we were the only team playing. I was a little disappointed,” said the German-American: ”I don’t know when they started playing these double headers on Monday. I love primetime, but this is only a half-assed primetime game. But we’ll figure it out somehow.”
In the original, St. Brown used the somewhat cruder word “half-assed” to describe the split primetime game, which doesn’t translate easily. But see for yourself:
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown didn't know there were two MNF games this week. His reaction was priceless 😂
“Half A** prime-time game, but we’ll make it work.”
