NFL: Cowboys without Diggs after “accident”

The Dallas Cowboys will have to do without Trevon Diggs in their already weak defense. The cornerback will not be available for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders due to concussion symptoms following an “accident” at home. This was confirmed by the National Football League (NFL) team.

“Trevon Diggs came to the team this morning after an accident that occurred at home,” said head coach Brian Schottenheimer. “He was examined by our doctors and will miss the game.” The circumstances surrounding the injury, which occurred on Thursday evening, have not yet been fully clarified.

The Cowboys’ defense has the worst pass defense record in the entire league, with 184 points conceded in six games, surpassed only by the Baltimore Ravens (194).

Diggs, who underwent surgery on his left knee in January, has played in all six games so far, four of them from the start.
