The decision has been made! Wide receiver Cooper Kupp is joining the Seattle Seahawks, the athlete announced on social media.

According to US media, the wide receiver is signing a three-year contract. Kupp will earn around 15 million US dollars per year – or more.

The 31-year-old was only released by the Los Angeles Rams a few days ago. The move to Seattle is a return home for him.

Kupp, who was born in the state of Washington, also attended college there at Eastern Washington and is now playing for the Seahawks just two hours away from where he grew up.

“Washington back on my chest. Here we go,” the receiver wrote on his social media accounts.

The Seattle Seahawks are responding to the departure of D.K. Metcalf and providing new quarterback Sam Darnold with an offensive weapon.

Kupp was drafted by the L.A. Rams in the third round in 2017 and won Super Bowl 56 with the team. He was even named MVP in the 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in February 2022.
