NFL – Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl? Kyler Murray makes an optimistic announcement

The Arizona Cardinals are not among the hottest favorites for the Super Bowl. Kyler Murray sees it a little differently.

Kyler Murray still has unfinished business from the playoffs.

He has only appeared in the postseason once so far, even though he has been playing in the NFL since 2019. In 2021, he and the Arizona Cardinals suffered an 11-34 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card Round at the start of the season.

“That alone is disappointing and frustrating for me. That has to change. I’m just getting older. But I’m only 27, I’m still young, so we have time, and I know we’re on the right track,” the quarterback said on ‘KSB World Radio’.

He played his first full season since 2020 in 2024, throwing for 3,851 yards with 21 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions, while completing almost 69 percent of his passes.

Can the playmaker take the team to the next level in 2025? The Cardinals were recently able to keep guard Evan Brown and wide receiver Zay Jones, among others, and signed pass rusher Josh Sweat. In the draft, they have the 16th pick in the first round.

When Murray was asked how far he thinks the Cardinals are from the Super Bowl, he said: “Not very far. I think anything is possible.”

However, he has not yet done enough to help the Cards achieve their goal, he said. “I think as an organization we are on the up and up and I’m looking forward to next season.”
