Surprising news from Amon-Ra St. Brown! The German NFL star for the Detroit Lions confirmed to reporters that he had to undergo knee surgery after the end of last season.

However, the 25-year-old quickly gave the all-clear. St. Brown wants to be fit and ready to play again by the start of regular training camp on July 27. However, he will miss the Lions’ minicamp next week.

St. Brown did not reveal exactly what was bothering him. However, it does not appear to be a serious injury. He played in all of the Lions’ preseason games.

NFL: St. Brown wants to make it to the Super Bowl

In the regular season, the wide receiver racked up 1,263 receiving yards, and his twelve touchdowns were a career best for the California native. He signed a four-year, $120 million contract last year.

After a disappointing first-round playoff exit against the Washington Commanders, St. Brown wants to come back strong in the 2025 season. “For us, it’s Super Bowl or nothing,” he said.

However, the receiver and his offensive teammates will have to adjust to a new play caller. Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson left the franchise and was replaced by John Morton.
