Aaron Rodgers reveals on the “Pat McAfee Show” he has talked to Odell Beckham Jr. about a move to the Green Bay Packers.
Munich/Green Bay – Aaron Rodgers has spoken on the “Pat McAfee Show” about talks with Odell Beckham Jr. about a possible move for the receiver to the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers said, “We’ve been friends for a long time and obviously we’ve been in touch. When he became a free agent, there were definitely some talks and there were talks with the Packers.”
But in the end, he said, it was about where the player fit best. “I thought the Green Bay and OBJ connection could have worked out very well, but in the end he made a different decision. “
For Rodgers, criticism of OBJ comes too soon
Beckham went to the Los Angeles Rams, for whom he caught two passes for 18 yards in his first game in a 31-10 loss at the San Francisco 49ers.

A performance that immediately drew numerous OBJ critics. Rodgers came to his friend’s defence. Beckham would have to learn the Rams’ plays first, only then could he be judged.
Rodgers’ Packers currently sit atop the NFC North – and the entire NFC – with an 8-2 record, while Beckham’s Rams remain in second place in the NFC West with a 7-3 record.
