Saints star Cam Jordan and other members of the franchise are taking big penalties from the NFL for fake injuries. The defensive end is now taking action against the NFL’s “idiotic” decision.
Munich – This penalty so does not suit them. The NFL has decided to take serious action against fake injuries.
Among others, the New Orleans Saints – and several players – were asked to pay.
The franchise will have to pay 350,000 US dollars, Head Coach Dennis Allen 100,000 dollars, Defensive Line Coach Ryan Nielsen 50,000 dollars and Defensive End Cameron Jordan also 50,000 dollars.
The fine for the NFL pro is causing a lot of upset for him and also for his agent.
So now his advisor Doug Hendrickson said, “We’re going to appeal the idiotic fine.” He added: “What a joke… more details to follow. “
Jordan to appeal fine
Jordan himself had previously announced on Twitter that his punishment was “ridiculous”. He also suggested that the league was planning to buy a “new luxury watch or something” with it.
Agent told me bout it and initially I laughed and was like, that’s ridiculous- clearly aggravated something. then he told me how much the fine was and I been irked since.

The controversial scene occurred last game day in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Midway through the fourth quarter, as the Bucs were rushing to the line of scrimmage on a 4th-and-10, the defensive end went down with an injury.
The ensuing stoppage of play forced the Bucs to punt. According to Pro Football Talk, TV footage reportedly showed Jordan receiving “signals” from the sideline.
The NFL had issued a notice just a week ago to more consistently punish “intentional actions to delay the game.”
