Los Angeles Rams fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Head coach Sean McVay announced the practice return of star receiver Cooper Kupp
The Los Angeles Rams may soon be able to count on offensive star Cooper Kupp to return to practice, Head Coach Sean McVay announced on the sidelines of the preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The superstar suffered a hamstring injury in early August and has been out since, but is expected to return to practice later this week.
In 2022, the wide receiver missed just under half the season due to an ankle injury sustained in the game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
The 30-year-old is the biggest pillar of the Rams’ offense alongside quarterback Matthew Stafford.
2021, he had become only the fourth player ever to win the receiving triple crown for the eventual Los Angeles champions by leading the NFL in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
In the title win, Kupp was the key player of the offence, not least in the playoffs, and scored two touchdowns in the Super Bowl, including the game-deciding score with 1.25 minutes left in the game.
