The coach was staying at a Las Vegas hotel with his family when a three-year-old boy went underwater in the pool. By the time the child was rescued from the pool by his father, he already had no pulse, Morris’ wife shared on her Instagram account.

Rams coach becomes a lifesaver

First, a lifeguard began CPR, which was then continued by a doctor who happened to be on the scene. The Rams coach also responded in a flash, procuring a defibrillator and placing the electrodes on the child.

For Morris, credit also goes to the Rams’ recent first aid classes. After Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest, training sessions were held league-wide to prepare for such situations.
