The NFL world continues to look to Green Bay in anticipation of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ decision. If running back Aaron Jones has his way, the playmaker will return to the Packers next season.
Munich – While the Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals takes place on Sunday, the rest of the teams are already planning for the upcoming season.
For the Green Bay Packers, the decision about superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers hovers over everything. With a return to Green Bay, an early career end or the desire for a trade, all options are currently on the table for the veteran.
The time when the 38-year-old finally lets the cat out of the bag is getting closer with each passing day. Since he wants to make a decision before Free Agency in March out of consideration for the Packers, the bombshell could burst any day.
If his teammates have their way, the old and possibly new MVP will return to the Wisconsin franchise next season.
Aaron Jones: “I believe he will return “
Similarly to the fans and the media, his team continues to wait anxiously for the landmark decision. “I’ve only heard and read what everyone else has heard,” running back Aaron Jones told the “NFL Network”.
“But I firmly believe he’s coming back. I can’t see him anywhere else but Green Bay, he’s been here his whole career,” the 27-year-old continued. Apparently, even his teammate hasn’t been able to tease more out of Rodgers yet.
Nevertheless, Jones expects to continue playing with Rodgers in the 2022 season: “I think we had a lot of fun last season. I hope he comes back. And I believe with all my heart that it will happen,” he concluded.
