Ezekiel Elliot of the Dallas Cowboys is probably the most prominent corona case in the NFL. Now the 24-year-old talks about the course and start of the NFL training camps.
Ezekiel Elliot has talked about the course of his corona infection and the start of the NFL training camps in July.
“Now I’d say I feel good,” Elliot said in a twitch-stream. The Dallas Cowboys’ running back tested positive for COVID-19 10 days ago. He then had breathing problems and coughing for several days, Elliot reported.
But the doctors have not yet given him the green light to recover. And so Elliot is worried about the start of the NFL training camps, which are planned for July.
Elliot: “The health of the players must come first”
“I think there are still some unresolved issues to be resolved. I don “t know how the players are supposed to stay healthy. The health of the players must come first,” the cowboy star demanded.
He added: “Of course I hope we play. I want you to know: I hope we have a season. But it must be right. We have to put the health of the players, coaches and staff first. I think that’s important.”
He said his corona infection didn’t affect him that much, but there are players who live with their children or their grandparents under one roof. “We have to find a way that the players as well as the coaches and their families are not put at risk,” Elliot concluded.
The 24-year-old’s statements have a serious background, after all, corona cases are continuing to rise in the USA, especially in the state of Texas, where the cowboys are also based, reports steadily increasing numbers.
