Equanimeous St. Brown moves from Green Bay Packers to Chicago Bears
according to media reports.
Munich – Wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown is moving from the Green Bay Packers to their division rival: The German-American has agreed on a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears, according to coinciding media reports.
The 25-year-old was drafted in the 6th round by the Packers in the 2018 NFL Draft. In his first season, he caught passes for 328 yards before missing all of the following season due to injury. In 2020, he caught his first and only touchdown pass to date.
He was released shortly before the start of the 2021 season, but was added to the practice squad a day later and promoted to the active roster before Week 6. He ultimately finished with 13 appearances and 98 receiving yards.
St. Brown has every right to hope for a spot on the Bears’ squad, as there have been many departures at his position. Darnell Mooney is the only performer left from last season.
