Equanimeous St. Brown took part in a tryout with the San Francisco 49ers and could benefit from their receiver shortage.
The San Francisco 49ers are looking for new wide receivers. Equanimeous St. Brown (28) therefore took part in a tryout with the California franchise on Monday. This was reported by NBC Sports, among others.
However, the German-American is not the only pass receiver who took part in a workout with the Niners. Wide receivers Quintez Cephus, Grant DuBose, Ramel Keyton, Stanley Morgan, and Brandon Powell also took part in the tryout.

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the 49ers' receiving corps, as Brandon Aiyuk is still recovering from knee surgery, Jauan Jennings is in a contract dispute, and Ricky Pearsall was placed on the physically unable to perform list last week.
To make matters worse, San Francisco signed veteran receiver Demarcus Robinson this offseason, but he could be suspended for multiple games after being charged with drunk driving.
This could be an opportunity for Amon-Ra St. Brown's older brother.
Most recently on the Saints' practice squad
Equanimeous St. Brown was picked by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft and most recently played for the New Orleans Saints' practice squad in the 2024 season, appearing in just two games.
After finishing his rookie season with the Packers in 2018 with 21 receptions for 328 yards in twelve games, St. Brown suffered an ankle injury during a preseason game in August 2019 that ended his second season before it began.
The 28-year-old spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Chicago Bears. He has played in 62 NFL games to date, catching passes for 928 yards and two touchdowns.
