Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is becoming increasingly important for the Detroit Lions, as the numbers prove. He is now receiving praise from quarterback Jared Goff for that.
Detroit/Munich – German rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown has already made a decent impression with the Detroit Lions.
“I have a lot of confidence in him. He’s a freak and can do unbelievable things,” Lions quarterback Jared Goff said of the young receiver in a media roundtable.
The relationship between the 22-year-old German and his quarterback could hardly be better, after all, St. Brown is the player second most sought after by Goff. Only T.J. Hockenson has received the ball more often, but he is now out for the rest of the season with a thumb injury.
In the past two games, St. Brown had 18 catches – only three NFL players had caught more balls in that span. That trend is likely to get stronger in the coming weeks, and possibly St. Brown will be raking in more praise from his teammates.
