Dallas Cowboys: Odell Beckham Jr. injured? Micah Parsons gives update

The Dallas Cowboys have long been considered one of the favourites to sign Odell Beckham Jr, but appear to be taking a step back. Micah Parsons would have liked to welcome the wide receiver to the team and is now speaking out about the free agent’s health.

Munich/Arlington – Micah Parsons would have liked to welcome Odell Beckham Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys, but the wide receiver will probably not sign with “America’s Team”.

Just a few days ago, owner Jerry Jones was already critical of a possible signing, as the free agent would not be ready for immediate action. Parsons told the “Dallas Morning News” that he had spoken to the 30-year-old and gave an update on his rehab process.

OBJ probably fit for the playoffs

“He told me, ‘Five weeks’. No coach, no doctor, nobody can tell a player how he feels. It’s your body. Nobody can tell you how your body is going to feel except yourself,” the pass rusher said. Thus, OBJ’s return to the turf would not be possible until around Week 18 of the Regular Season.

“He knows we wanted him. And we wanted him to feel at home,” the 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year continued. In recent weeks, the Texas franchise has been heavily courting the pass receiver, who tore his ACL in Super Bowl 56 and has been working on his comeback ever since.

In addition to the Cowboys, Beckham Jr. also paid a visit to the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants in early December.
