Cowboys speculation after Payton departure from Saints
Owner Jerry Jones has yet to publicly commit to his head coach following his playoff exit to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card Round. Speculation ran high after the departure of Sean Payton from the New Orleans Saints, after all Jones is considered an admirer of the former assistant coach of Cowboys coach Bill Parcells.
But now it appears the decision has been made that McCarthy will remain on the Cowboys’ sideline next year.
