The Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be open to a Tom Brady return should the quarterback reconsider ending his career.

Tampa Bay – Tom Brady may have ended his glorious career at the age of 44. Still, his previous team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is keeping the possibility open for him to return.

“That door is never closed,” head coach Bruce Arians said at the NFL Scouting Combine. “Whenever Tom wants to come back, he’s back. If Tom wants to come back, we’ve got the money for him, too.”

General Manager Jason Licht agreed with his coach, “I don’t think I’d ever want to completely close the door on a Tom Brady, personally.”

However, he also said, “I don’t have any information that indicates he’s going to come back. I’m very good friends with him. We talk to each other, but we haven’t talked about that yet. So I don’t want to put any pressure here. But it’s Tom Brady. If a Tom Brady wants to come back, we would welcome him.”
