Carolina Panthers: Two more coaches fired – upheaval continues after Matt Rhule’s departure

The upheaval in the Carolina Panthers coaching staff continues to move forward. Following the firing of Matt Rhule, the franchise has now parted ways with two more coaches

Munich/Carolina – Since the firing of Matt Rhule, interim head coach Steve Wilks has been calling the shots for the Carolina Panthers. After the 21:42 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, the 53-year-old made changes to his coaching staff.

As the Panthers confirmed, the franchise has parted ways with cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper and defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni. The former had come to Carolina along with Matt Rhule. Pasqualoni, a former head coach at Syracuse, joined the Panthers this season.

Demach defensive assistant Bobby Maffei will take over for Evan Cooper for the time being. Pass-rush specialist Don Johnson and assistant defensive line coach Terrance Knighton will continue to coach the defensive linemen.

In week ten, the Panthers face the Atlanta Falcons in a divisional duel.
